Focus on Food Youth Program Coordinator:

FoodShare is seeking an experienced youth counselor or program worker to coach, support and supervise 12 youth who face significant barriers in their lives to acquiring and maintaining employment while coordinating all aspects of the program. This position will run from June 2008 to January 2009 with potential for renewal provided funding for another youth project is secured. $40,000 plus generous benefits plans.

FoodShare is seeking an educator to implement a food and climate change program– including the benefits of composting, supporting local food, organic gardening and the environmental value of trees, comfortable with public speaking and possessing a working knowledge of gardening, composting and community development.
