TORONTO KITCHEN INCUBATOR

FoodShare Toronto is pleased to be able to offer a rental program to individuals or groups who wish to pursue a career in food production. Our kitchens are well equipped, clean and spacious.

As the kitchens are used for teaching as well as rental, there are limited hours available and flexibility from tenants is a requirement. Kitchen hours, during the school year from September to June, are from 8am to 8:30pm, Monday through Friday. During July and August, evening rental is limited to two nights per week, Tuesday and Wednesday. Weekend rental is currently not available.

The fee for kitchen rental is $35 per hour for businesses and $25 per hour for non-profit organizations. Should a tenant use the kitchen for more than 30 hours per month, a 20% reduction will be applied to that month's statement. Prices do not include HST and invoices are rendered on a monthly basis.

Though insured while working in the kitchens, tenants must provide proof of liability insurance for their product once it leaves FoodShare Toronto. A limited amount of refrigerator, freezer and dry storage space is available for tenants for an additional fee.

All equipment and small wares are available for tenants' use. Tenants are required to leave the kitchen clean. Cleaning products are supplied at no extra cost.
