Light

One of the great things about gardening in containers is that they’re movable. If you don’t have full sun in any one spot, you may be able to provide it by moving your plants during the day so that they can get more than if they were in the ground. Obviously you’ll want to plan for this by limiting the weight of your planters or by putting them on wheels so that they’re easy to move.

Cluster sun lovers together in a hot spot so that you can water them easily with a quick once-over, and let the shade-tolerant ones brighten up the dark corners.
