You are invited to FoodShare’s
first Annual General Meeting
at our new location

Please consider this your invitation to FoodShare’s 2007 Annual General Meeting to share our plans for the exciting year ahead and help us carry out the work that we need to do as a non-profit organization.

What: At the AGM you will elect the Board of Directors, appoint the financial auditors, review and ratify recommended by-law amendments and receive reports on the organization’s direction.  The by-laws that will be reviewed can be accessed on our website (PDF Download) .

Who: By being on this list serve you are automatically considered a member of FoodShare.  If you would rather not be a member but still wish to receive the newsletter, just let us know by emailing Zola Dyer zola@foodshare.net. (Unsubscribe instructions are at the bottom of this email.)

When: The meeting will take place on June 14th from 6pm to 7pm, and you are invited to tour our new site before the meeting at 5:30pm or after it at 7pm.

Where: Our new address is 90 Croatia Street at Bloor and Dufferin in the former Brockton/Ursula Franklin School that we share with the Royal Conservatory of Music.  Please click here for directions. (or look on the back of your FoodShare calendar)

Because our new location is still under construction and we don’t yet have a greenhouse, we will not be selling plants at our AGM this year.  For information about plant sale locations, please visit the May Community Garden E News.

We will be writing you again in the fall to invite you to our grand reopening on October 20, 2007 and we hope you will be able to join us then for a tour of our wonderful new facilities.
