How to Start a Community Garden:
A Course in 5 Parts

When: Every other Wednesday evening beginning February 9, and then February 23, March 9, 23, April 6, 2005 6:00pm to 9:00 pm

Where: 519 Community Centre, 519 Church St, 1 block north of Wellesley.

What: This is a series of five workshop sessions for the Community Garden Leaders certificate. Sessions are held every other Wednesday evening from Feb. 9th to April 6th and attendance at all 5 sessions is required to receive a course certificate. The course covers the fundamentals of starting and sustaining a community garden-- from group dynamics to horticultural basics, budgeting and fundraising to site design and implementation. 

Admission to the sessions is free and it is strongly advised that more than one person from each group attend the course. 

More Info:  You must register in advance and space is limited, so register early! Registration deadline is Feb. 4th (unless the course is filled before that)
